We have always wanted to film a video about “Chess through the Eyes of Children,” and this Christmas Carnival provided the perfect opportunity to capture these genuine, touching moments. Through the lens, we captured moments far more moving than the game itself: the deep breaths taken to steady their nerves, and the “patience” that children so innocently regard as their secret weapon.
A heartfelt thank you to these wonderful children—thank you for your purity and composure at the chessboard. You reminded us adults that “nobody is immune to losing,” and that even the humblest “pawn,” as long as it stays grounded and never gives up, will eventually reach its own “promotion”.
